The term "salience" means importance. When something is salient and important to the individual the brain starts with developing neuroplasticity. If the brain pays attention to an activity or task that it finds important and of interest, then the brain starts learning at a faster rate which promotes and causes neuroplasticity.

At Salience NeuroRehab we focus on exercise, activity programs, use of adaptive equipment, and retraining of the brain to improve movement, prevent or decrease weakness caused by lack of use, manage spasticity and pain, and maintain range of motion to assist with the individual's activity or daily living skills.

We also focus on training and educating your caregivers or family members to assist you at home.
